Christopher Carter
I am the Senior Director of Carter & Carter Solicitors, and, naturally, a qualified solicitor. I have spent my entire career specialising exclusively in personal injury claims. I have a wealth of experience acting for clients who have suffered injury arising out of a whole range of accident circumstances including road traffic accidents, accidents at work and accidents which happen in public places.
I have over 15 years' of experience winning personal injury cases for my clients, ranging from people with minor injuries to those with very serious injuries. The one thing that has remained constant for all of my clients is my desire to bring about the best possible settlement and to provide a really good and personable service.
Unlike other practices that often leave claims to be handled by junior and inexperienced staff, if you ask me to help you with your personal injury claim I will work with you personally. You therefore have the reassurance and peace of mind that your case will be handled throughout by a senior and very experienced specialist personal injury practitioner. Remember I guarantee that you won't have to pay anything in order to receive the very best advice and the result you are looking for.
Member of the Law Society's Personal Injury Panel
I am a Law Society Personal Injury Panel member (an outside endorsement by my professional body of my expertise in personal injury claims.) To gain my membership of this panel I had to satisfy the Law Society that I had demonstrated a high level of expertise and experience in the field of personal injury claims.
You can also feel reassured that the Law Society has accredited Carter & Carter Solicitors as a company that has the necessary facilities and resources, as well as the appropriate case management systems and procedures to ensure that your case is handled in an efficient and proper manner.
Member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers
I am also a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL). APIL campaigns for better laws to help people who are injured or become ill through no fault of their own. APIL is an independent, not for profit organisation providing accreditation to lawyers specialising in the area of personal injury law. This accreditation shows an APIL lawyer has achieved a specific standard.
Julia Carter
Julia Carter is the company's other Director and also my wife. Her area of expertise is employment law. She is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association which has become the voice of authority in this field. As it is often the case that employment issues arise in accident injury claims, her employment experience and expertise could be invaluable to you.
For instance:
- Does your employer have to pay you for time off whilst absent as a result of your accident?
- If you are no longer able to work because of your injuries what are your employer's obligations towards you?
- Is your employer able to dismiss you even if they were responsible for the accident?
- You may be unable to work due to the accident and your employer is putting pressure upon you to return to work - what should you do?
There are clearly a whole range of potentially difficult situations that can arise following an accident in so far as your employment is concerned. Julia will be able to advise you and help you to take appropriate action to protect yourself and your employment rights in these circumstances.
It follows that with Julia's specialism in employment law, you are able to benefit from a "one-stop" service if employment issues do arise as a consequence of the effects of the accident.
