Other Claims: Salmonella Food Poisoning and more
If you've had a look round my site you might have got the idea that in my career as a claims solicitor I generally only handle the cases of people who have had road accidents or some sort of mishap at work.
In fact, the personal claims process I go through in cases like these can be applied to just about any situation where someone has received an injury or become ill or severely distressed as a result of someone else's fault or negligence and, salmonella poisoning is one such example. If something bad has happened to you that's not your fault - especially something that's caused lasting injury including poisoning, cost, inconvenience or psychological damage - there's a very good chance you'll be able to claim compensation.
For example, I often work with clients who have suffered the very unpleasant, distressing and potentially life-threatening experience of salmonella food poisoning, usually as a result of buying cooked or prepared food that has been negligently handled. Salmonella can knock you out of action for some time, causing severe problems both at work and in your personal life. If you've suffered from this particularly unpleasant form of food poisoning, get in touch - I may be able to help you make a claim against the business that sold you the food.
As with all cases I handle, if I win you get to keep all your compensation - my fees are paid separately by the defendant's insurer.
Examples of other claims cases I can handle:
• Severe allergic reaction (perhaps you have a serious nut allergy, and were not adequately warned that a food contained nuts.)
• Repetitive strain injuries (often sustained by too much typing in work environments where you haven't been given appropriate equipment or sufficient breaks.)
• Injuries sustained as a result of purchasing faulty or dangerous goods.
Basically, if something bad has happened to you that isn't your fault, there's a good chance I can help you win compensation. And you get to keep every penny!
The claims process is very simple, and I'll handle most of the hard work. Most compensation cases are handled out of court, so it's very unlikely you'll find yourself in a witness box.
If you're not sure whether you have a claim, the best thing to do is get in touch with me. You can either fill in my injury compensation claim form, or call me direct on 01663 735031. I'm very friendly and approachable, I won't hassle you into making a claim you're not sure about and I won't think you're wasting my time if your claim seems trivial. So get in touch today!
