Horse Riding Accident in Lower Halstow Kent
A 12-year-old girl who had a horse riding accident on Tuesday 12th August 2014 in Lower Halstow was flown by air ambulance to King’s CollegeHospital in London. She had suffered serious injuries to her chest, leg and pelvis. It seems that after the horse riding accident the horse fell and landed on the girl causing serious injuries.
Horse riding accident claims can be complicated to run as the rider accepts a certain degree of risk by getting onto the horse as horses can be quite unpredictable.
The type of horse which is ridden is crucial to keep the risk of a horse riding accident to a minimum. For example, retired thoroughbred horses are probably unsuitable for a novice or beginner because they are used to galloping as fast as possible and will always want to do that. If the rider is not capable of controlling the horse when it sets off at speed, the rider can find themselves out of their depth and the distinct possibility of a horse riding accident is ever present.
